Born and raised in Louisiana, Terrance MICHAEL MORGAN AND THE TMM PROJECT (THE TRUE MISSION MATTERS PROJECT) ARE on a mission to improve the lives of today’s youth by promoting positive youth development through the act of art, dance, speaking and more.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS & ACCOLADES
Morgan founded Parc Jam at Festival de International in 2004, which has become an internationally-known event held annually since it’s start in 2004, as well as one of the most talked about and looked forward to events with local talent.
In 2023, Morgan was a featured headliner at the Children’s Stage at Jazz Fest, main stage at Festival International de Louisiane, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, and has performed live at the infamous Apollo Theatre in New York City, New York.
He has also trained at notable studios such as Broadway Dance Center, Peridance, PMT House of Dance, and more. He was also an instructor for Red Feet Productions' New Orleans Dance Convention “Intensive" and been noted for his work through callbacks received by Sony Music. In 2013 he performed during the NFL Pepsi Superbowl Halftime festivities.
In 2012 and 2019 he was voted as one of Acadiana Lifestyle Magazine's Most Interesting People and in 2023 he was their featured artist once again in Acadiana Lifestyle. In 2019, he was also presented with the Louisiana Volunteer Service Award by Louisiana’s Lieutenant Governor, Billy Nungesser.
He also was a featured dancer/stunt double in the movie, “Spring Break 83”; choreographed for The Exposure Entertainment Showcase in Hollywood, California; and was a featured dancer in Atlantic recording artist and fellow Acadiana-native, Cupid’s, Billboard Top 100 hit, the Cupid Shuffle music video premiering nationally on MTV, BET and more.
